I actually really enjoyed this. Smaller budget than vikings. Third season is fantastic.

Easily better. The history is far more accurate, since the author of the books is a professor of history. The main char didn’t exist, but all the other chars did exist. Most of the events are true (except for the main-character part, since he is fiction). Vikings is everything but accurate, from the ships to the story they are all mixed up and the time line is fcked up bc of that. In Vikings we got many real names, but they have nothing in common with the real history. I have seen both and I enjoyed both, last kingdom is IMO better produced even if it had a lower budged. Story is depending on what you want to see, reality or fiction.

Vikings season 1-3 > last kingdom > Vikings season 4-5. Major problem of the last kingdom is the actors. No charisma and the main character is such a moron I can't stand it. Compared to Ragnar he is a joke. Vikings is trash now tho.

Bronson Kittler

I love Vikings but the last Kingdom is more accurate about the real story of England and his characters. Vikings has too much fantasy and the authors do what they please with the characters.

Jessie Phillips

Its kindof a secual to vikings, its 30-50 years later in the time Line than vikings. Som of ragnars sons are in the series

Francis Soh

It's an entertaining and ening series, but with a lot of things that are just absolutely terrible and cringeworthy. It's worth watching, but don't even try to compare it to Vikings.

Edward Rush

It's Meh. Some episodes are really cool, some just promote suicide

Demauri Brunson

First season is like written on knee, but next ones are good.

Sonja Kovacevic

It’s a poor version of Vikings. The cinematography and special effects are good but the acting and storyline really fall flat.

Victor W Black

I watched bother Vikings and this one. Both a very good. I can't say one is better than the other.

Tami Chalakee

I genuinely thought this is a gay parody version of jon snow. And then i was like "wait a minute"

Maryann Burton

Vikings is already poor, so you won't be losing much anyway. Go and watch it. It's not bad.

Vicki Boo

The Last Kingdom is part of a series of books by Bernard Cornwell, which include among them the Saxon Chronicles. Books are excellent historical romances. I just watched the beginning of the series on Netflix. It is interesting, but very simple (compared to the books).

Romel Cinco

The songs are in my native langauge :)

Colleen Anora Conant

Judging by costume...It´s really shitty one

Emie Diolata

But that's not an advice that you asked from us. You asked for an opinion.

Laura Harris

It's bad

Tonya Allen

I enjoyed it

Syed Danial Jamshaid

It's a poor version of vikings, it's still more fantasy than history but slightly less so than vikings which might as well feature horned helmets.
